About

RF Mira Radar is a start-up company founded in Dec.2023 at Gebze Institute of Technology Technopark by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Serdar Turk, for scientific and technological R&D projects about subsurface radar communication systems. Our current project is the development of drone-GPR for life detection. It is aimed to detect quickly the existence of living trapped people (by electromagnetic radar technology) in the collapsed buildings after natural disasters such as, earthquake and avalanche.

Development of drone-GPR prototype for UXO and landmine detection

The ground penetrating radar (GPR) prototype designed by our company "RF Mira Radar" and the rotary wing drone produced by "Teknofest Milenyum" student team are integrated. We have just started the TRL-5 level tests and performance measurements of this prototype. Moreover, we have been implemented GPR SAR (synthetic aperture radar) imaging trials by using similar commercial drone.
